Since 1957 Hardin Honda has been a family owned and operated business. Hardin Automotive all started when Victor Hardin purchased Crowell Oldsmobile in 1957. The dealership was located in Los Angeles in a one-car showroom with seven employees. The dealership grew rapidly and moved to a new location on Anaheim Blvd where Victor’s son Dennis Hardin joined the business after working for several years as a Certified Public Accountant.
Hardin Honda became a part of Hardin Oldsmobile in 1970. The company kept growing and in 1991 a new state-of-the-art facility was built at its current location of Auto Center Drive in Anaheim. The facility was much larger with the distinct purpose of better serving our customers into the future.
In 1999 Hardin Automotive acquired GMC, Buick and Pontiac then in 2008 Hardin Automotive acquired Hyundai. All three stores are located in the same Auto Center but in seperate facilities. Both dealerships continue to grow and maintain their great reputation. Hardin Automotive is currently run by the third generation and is very proud to still be a family owned and operated business.
Hardin Honda is dedicated to customer satisfaction. Without our customers Hardin Automotive would not be were we are at today. The continued growth in all facets of the dealership is a proven fact that our employees have also committed themselves in this direction to the company’s proud reputation of fair and honest dealings. Our company philosophy of treating our customers like family has served us well over the years.
